1. What Audmit Provides
Audmit is a technology and compliance-consulting company. We provide software platforms, automation tools, and strategic compliance consulting. Audmit is not a law firm and does not provide legal services or legal advice.
2. What the Affiliated Practice Provides
Legal services, including formal legal review and attorney sign-off, are provided exclusively by our affiliated law practice. These services are only available under a separate, explicit engagement letter with that law practice.
3. Attorney-Client Relationship
No attorney-client relationship is formed by using Audmit's website, technology, or compliance-consulting services. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you sign a formal engagement letter with our affiliated law practice.
4. Privilege Handling
Communications made through the Audmit platform or with Audmit consulting staff are not protected by attorney-client privilege. Privilege only applies to communications made directly with attorneys of the affiliated practice under an active engagement letter.
5. Dual-Counsel Model Reference
We operate under a dual-entity model to clearly separate technology/consulting services from the practice of law, ensuring adherence to professional rules of conduct.
